Siân Pottok

afro / pop / soul

After the introspective world of her album “Deep Waters”, Siân Pottok now brings us into the bright energy of Sub-Saharan Africa with her new EP “Happy People”, to be released in January 2026.

In collaboration with Fatoumata Diawara, Tom Excell, Edouard Coquard, and Bruno Guglielmi, she lets the source of her African roots flow into the compositions of the following tracks: Echoes of my Ancestors, Happy People, Shine a Light, Je Danse sur Toi (featuring Fatoumata Diawara), I Could Kill, and Layers — all united by one idea: stand up and dance!:

With humor, playfulness, and a hint of provocation, Siân explores the paradoxes of our times: environmental challenges, the illusion of happiness shaped by social media, the belief that change is always possible, and the defense of individual freedom in the face of social hypocrisy.
